Western Sydney Blues Boy Band, The Bernies, are not your everyday typical musical act. The group consisting of 2 guitarists/ singers, hailing from Liverpool and Fairfield, had a stellar start to 2021, selling out The Oxford Art Factory.
The two first met in Officeworks buying stationary one day before high school, sharing their mutual love for soccer before they both made the realisation they were going to the same school – The rest is history.
The Bernies released music and toured Australia wide, but unfortunately Covid-19 restrictions in NSW made the band take a hiatus on their live shows, but that didn’t stop the dynamic trip from continuing to make music in their down time.
Catch The Bernies chatting with Helena on air on “Mornings With Helena”, as they discuss pushing through Covid restrictions, growing up in Sydney’s West, their dream music collaboration, and new music releases on Next FM via your iheart radio app, starting Monday 22nd October.
