New South Wales has had a reasonably good run of zero cases of Covid-19 of late but Friday morning it was announced there have been ten new cases. This includes five in quarantine and five community transmissions.
This comes a week after Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk was questioned about the possibility the Queensland and New South Wales border opening. Ms Palaszczuk said for this to happen, there would have to be a period of 28 days with zero community transmissions.
New South Wales Health Minister Brad Hazzard has slammed Queensland’s strict border closures and has warned that the issue could potentially go on for years.
