Natal Jimma

Natal is a journalist and radio presenter working towards a role in the ABC newsroom. Since he was a teenager, he has always been compelled by radio to stay informed and for companionship. 

After completing a Bachelor of Journalism at UQ, Natal worked in community radio for four years and has completed several internships with the ABC in Brisbane and was promoted to a community correspondent role. He enjoys researching, writing, sourcing audio, interviewing and reading news. 

Natal’s passion for culture, social issues, sports and current affairs led him to study his Graduate Diploma in Radio at AFTRS. He loves to interview politicians and people with interesting and inspiring stories to tell. 

A genuine person and team player, Natal enjoys photography, filming and editing short videos and loves to tell stories visually as well as on the radio.
