Jobs Boost For Western Sydney Following a New Logistics Hub

The plans for a new warehouse and logistic hubs in the suburb of Kemps Creek have been unveiled.

The building, estimated at $51 Million will boost jobs for the area. Operations would run 24 hours a day working on “carparking, estate access roads and associated landscaping” said one of the projects planners told the Daily Telegraph.

He continued by saying “The Proposal will provide positive social and economic benefits to the area and support large-scale industrial and warehousing development within an area earmarked for such purposes”

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the unemployment rate in Sydney’s West was 7.1 per cent in the 2016 census. The construction of the building will create 300 jobs with an aditional 460 full time position will be offfered after the site opens.
